I would describe this book as epic wisdom from an amazing man of God.
John Michael Talbot writes about the life and lessons of St. Francis of Assisi. Talk about one crazy dude. A life of simplicity and extreme love for all of God’s creation. The cover of the book is St. Francis preaching to the birds about the love of God…yah. Kind of hard to read for someone like me!
This book is about Father Greg Boyle and some stories and lessons he has learned in his life lived with gang members. It made me think about a lot of things, and is the inspiration behind this blog posting. Service.
